Global Distribution System (GDS); Airline reservations; Timetables; flight availability;  developing of booking files; Principles of airline scheduling; schedule types; limitations to air scheduling; factors affecting scheduling process; Methods of ticket payment: credit cards, universal air travel plan, cheques, cash; taxes, fees and charges: types of TFCs, mixed class fares, children and infants fares, Special fares; Journey with surface sectors: types of surface sectors, fare level and standard methods of fare calculation; Normal fare open jaw construction: NOJ definition, types of NOJs, NOJ fare construction steps: Pricing unit concept: direct of fare levels; lowest combination principle: description and application; control and security of BSP accountable documents.

The Purpose of the Course

The aim of this course is to expose the students to advanced airfares calculations, reservation and pricing of traffic documents.
